About WPC doors
WPC doors in Egypt, straight from the factory
Babeco makes WPC doors for apartments, villas and projects at our own factory in 6th of October. 17 models, flat and design, from 9,000 EGP for a complete door.
What is a WPC door?
WPC means Wood Plastic Composite: wood powder blended with polymers. A WPC door looks and works like wood, but water and moisture do not make it swell, and termites do not eat it. That is why it has replaced wood and HDF for bathroom, kitchen and bedroom doors in Egyptian homes.
Why Babeco WPC doors
- True WPC profile: 4.5 cm leaf, 5 mm internal ribs, 5 cm + 3 cm frame — no wood strip inside.
- Lighter than PVC doors: the leaf weighs 25–27 kg, so hinges do not sag.
- The surface film is bonded with PUR glue imported from Germany, on a sanded WPC surface.
- Tested: crush test under cars and a 4-ton forklift, water-immersion test, 4-nail hang test.
- Lifetime warranty against water, moisture, insects and termites, registered on this website.
Doors for every room
- Bedroom and living-room doors in flat wood tones or design panels.
- Bathroom and kitchen doors that do not swell from steam or floor cleaning.
- Matching bathroom units and wall panels in the same colours.

Frequently asked questions
Are WPC doors waterproof?+
Yes. WPC does not absorb water, so the door does not swell or warp in bathrooms and kitchens. Babeco doors carry a lifetime warranty against water and moisture.
How much does a WPC door cost in Egypt?+
Babeco WPC doors cost 9,000–9,500 EGP for flat models and 9,700–10,900 EGP for design models, for a complete door with frame.
What is the difference between WPC and PVC doors?+
Both resist water. WPC contains wood powder, so it is lighter on the hinges and its surface film bonds like on wood; PVC is plastic throughout and heavier.
